Inspired by the Yak-3M that I have seen at Northwest air shows and also during AirVenture 2024 at Oshkosh.
I really liked depicting the battered skin and the dimples/divots caused by the large fasteners. I put more energy into the complex landing gear and extra effort capturing the pilot as I am likely to see him again at local events. Look closely at the slideshow below and you’ll see even more to appreciate.
